Abstract
The construction of the New Manila International Airport also known as the Bulacan International Airport has begun in the coastal area of the municipality of Bulakan. The paper investigates the ongoing construction of the airport with the lived experiences of the residents as far as torrential rains, inundations, and floods are concerned. Mixed method research is used to obtain the holistic output of the study. Results exhibit the inevitable consequences of the changing climate in relation to the socio-economic situation of the inhabitants.
