Abstract
The aim of my study is to reveal the mechanism of the production of knowledge within the framework of economics discourse. This work is based on the scientific and philosophical research of M. Foucault as well as historians of economic thought working in the field of methodology.The main methods of this research are analytical and historical. Research of this type can be useful in understanding both historical and modern structures of knowledge production within the framework of an economy understood as a specific discursive practice.
