Abstract
This paper shares the results of the work experience of a collaborative digital e-portfolio in the subject of Human Geography. This was elaborated through google sites by the students of the Master’s degree in Social Sciences with Orientation to Educational Innovation of the Technological University of Santiago, UTESA. Its execution has undoubtedly been an exercise in collective learning. In the design and implementation of a single final e-portfolio, students combined technological tools, research skills, collaborative work, creativity, and critical thinking. They all pooled their significant learning to reach a higher level of knowledge and the implementation of various skills. Within the evaluation, not only was the rubric instrument valuable - known by the students from day one - its conception process was accompanied by reflection and feedback with possibilities for improvement. This made it an innovative learning and assessment practice. The end result was qualitatively superior and offered multiple lessons for the students.
