Abstract
This study draws attention to the ways in which gender literacy can help advance and promote positive social change. Based on the Critical Literacies Advancement Model, the paper discusses the ways in which the model can be used as a tool to frame our understanding of current biases related to gender and how it can serve as a mechanism for promoting diversity, gender equity, and inclusion in a variety of learning and other social contexts.
