Visual Literacy in the Process of Scond Language Acquisition

Abstract

The main goal of this study is to explore the advantages of using the pedagogy of multiliteracies to acquire a foreign language, by means of an active and creative pedagogy that help our students in the process of visual, multilingual and social literacy. This main goal leads to other specific goals such as: 1. To propose a multimodal teaching in multilingual contexts. 2. To analyse and to transform the teaching of English as a Foreign Language and the Artistic Education in English from AME perspectives (Artistic Methodologies in Education), CLIL (Content And Language Integrated Learning) and multilingual approaches. 3. To share new instruments for research involved with artistic methodologies.
