Abstract
Often we make judgements about disabilities based on our identities. We assume “the other” does not apply to us. Using the frame of Deafness and You, a deaf scholar discusses how universal design in teaching and learning makes for an inclusive communication and lifestyle for all. Truly, in the end, it is only fear that is disabling.
