Abstract
This paper investigates the socio-economic underpinnings influencing leisure activities within rural Uzbekistan communities. Leveraging data collected from a comprehensive survey comprising over 1500 rural households, the study employs Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) models to analyze and unveil the multifaceted factors shaping leisure engagement. The research delves into the intricate interplay between socio-economic indicators and the pursuit of leisure activities, shedding light on the nuanced relationships between income, education, employment status, and various forms of recreational engagements. The findings underscore the significance of socio-economic drivers in shaping leisure preferences and highlight the potential implications for policy interventions aimed at enhancing community well-being and leisure-related initiatives in rural contexts within Uzbekistan.
