Description

Ana Portolan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, University of Dubrovnik. She teaches undergraduate courses Introduction to tourism, Special forms of tourism and Management of accommodation, and graduate courses Tourism, Development and Tourism Policy, Sustainable Tourism and Management of Tourism Destination. Her research interests relate to tourism impacts, competitiveness in tourism, sustainable tourism development and peer to peer tourist accommodation. She also publishes on local residents’ attitudes towards tourism impacts with emphasis on World Heritage Sites.
