Abstract

This study considers approaches for elderly employment in Thailand. Documents were descriptively analyzed, emphasizing Thai’ s employment policy. In the first section, this paper presents the dynamic situation of current elderly employment, which introduces the contradiction between the needs and the supply of elderly employment. To supplement this idea, the concrete phenomenon from the placement of employment is added to display the real characteristics of employment. The second section of this paper displays the development of laws, policies, and measures related to elderly employment. Study by synthesize the essential points, the study found that there are probably vigorous solutions. In the last section, this paper suggests some necessary approaches to overcome the contradiction between the needs and supply of elderly employment.
