Abstract
More countries world over are paying attention to their ageing population, and drafting policies to help guide the social and economic aspects of this phenomena. This paper explores experiences of women ageing with HIV in a Trinidadian context, it reveals that women ageing with HIV may not benefit from provisions within the policy document, as it does not cater to meet their needs in specific ways that respects their worth and dignity. Issues of access to health and social care, while honouring human rights of women ageing with HIV must be intertwined in policy so that safe spaces can be established and available.
