Concurrent Triangulation Study on the Impact of Teacher’s Attunement and Academic Leniency to the Career Success of the Psychology Students

Abstract

Since the pandemic hit in 2020, a lot of students have struggled in adjusting to the new normal wherein methodologies of learning may be lenient, but the physical assistance and support of the teachers is absent. Educators also find it difficult connecting to their learners not only academically but also in their socio-emotional level. If this will continue, the distance might bring failure to the students academically and in their future profession. This research has conducted a concurrent triangulation design in order to see the impact of teacher’s attunement and academic leniency to the career success of the psychology students. Seventeen (17) respondents participated in this study between ages 21 to 40 years old. Majority of them are female, all are psychology major students in their college course, and they have been working for more than 2 years. Results somehow revealed that there is a significant relationship in the teacher’s attunement and career success of the students.
