Abstract
This paper considers contemporary issues of cyber-wellness and reflects upon challenges and solutions that are necessary to promote cyber-wellness. It provides an opportunity to discuss what kind of policies (at micro, meso, macro level) should be developed to promote cyber-wellness. In this paper I contextualize the conversation addressing policy development supportive to cyber-wellness. Cyber-wellness is a facet of cyber- or digital citizenship, in that it asks us to think about digital equity, digital citizenship and wellness within the larger frame of a global socio-critical perspective or within the context of culture, politics, and civil society; and any conversation addressing these constructs needs to be situated within a geopolitical–sociological frame.
