This paper explores and investigates the democratic transition impact on the bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Russian Federation from 2001 to 2014. It is assumed that the democratic transition affected foreign policy conduct which was indicated by the shift of a state's policy orientation becoming more liberal. Indonesia and the Russian Federation were experiencing a democratic transition within the same period of time: 1990s post-Soviet Russia and post-authoritarian Indonesia. This paper uses the historical method to explore how Indonesia and the Russian Federation conducted their bilateral relations from 2001 to 2014 and to what extent the democratic transition within the two countries affected the foreign policy orientation and diplomatic conduct among the countries. This paper is expected to enhance the discussion of the democratic transition's impact on foreign policy and diplomacy conduct from the historical approach. It tries to understand the democratic transition as a unique historical event from the actor's perspective, perceived norms, and institutional conventions that shape and constrain the foreign policy and diplomacy actors' behavior.

This paper explores the factors influencing the responses of women's organizations to violence against women and girls in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The study investigates the hypothesis that women's organizations operating in regions or countries with diplomatic relations that strongly favor one side of the conflict may be more likely to align their positions with their host country's foreign policy. Drawing from a literature review that emphasizes the geopolitical influences on women's organizations, the challenges faced by women's organizations in conflict zones, and the relationship between media coverage and advocacy priorities, this research aims to provide insights into the complexities surrounding the prioritization of violence against women and girls in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The study employs a content analysis approach, examining public statements, reports, and advocacy materials produced by women's organizations operating within and outside the region. By analyzing the content of these materials, this research seeks to reveal patterns and trends in how these organizations address violence against women and girls and how organizations positions may align or diverge with host country foreign policies. The findings of this study have implications for the work of women's organizations operating in conflict zones and offer insights into the broader context of international advocacy efforts for women's rights.

Tunisia's cultural heritage, spanning over three millennia, is a rich mix of diverse civilizations, including the Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, and French. This heritage, comprising archaeological sites, monuments, traditions, and crafts, is crucial for both national identity and global heritage. However, it faces threats from environmental degradation, neglect, and insufficient preservation strategies. This research explores the potential of service design and modern technologies in preserving and promoting Tunisia's cultural heritage. By integrating user-centered service design with digitalization, 3D scanning, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR), the study proposes sustainable solutions for heritage preservation. The methodology includes virtual reality tours at the Carthage Welcome Center, video/audio projections at the Museum of the Water Circuit, and advanced audio-visual technology to animate statues at the National Museum of Carthage. Additionally, touring vehicles and 3D animation techniques will enhance visitor experiences and educational outreach. This interdisciplinary approach aims to increase cultural tourism, boost economic development, and preserve Tunisia's cultural identity for future generations. Ultimately, the proposed strategies have the potential to increase cultural tourism, boost economic development, and preserve Tunisia's identity while actively engaging local communities and stakeholders in the preservation efforts.
