Fine Art of Healthcare: Using Art as a Tool to Hone Clinical Skills

Abstract

The workshop introduces and demonstrates how using art can hone clinical skills such as: observation, problem solving, navigation of ambiguity, communication, collaboration and mitigation of biases. The workshop, being interactive includes participants facilitation of the art discussions, demonstrating active listening and communication skills. Participants will also do drawing and writing exercises.
