Imaginary Friends Playing on Digital Screens in Everyday Spaces: Design for Spatial-interactive Experiences for Kids' Creative Activities

Abstract

For infants and toddlers, imaginary play is like a leisurely and fun shopping at a shop we enjoy. Imagination play is the process of developing a creative world by mobilizing everything from children’s experiences and learning to imagine a recipe and add cooking ingredients. This study considers the creation of a digital play zone in public spaces, where children immersed in mobile culture can play games in their imagination and empathize in their daily lives.
