How Do You Do You?: Live Zoom Workshop Presentation - 15:00PM (Chicago CST) 4 March 2021

Abstract

➡️ Zoom Meeting: https://calstatela.zoom.us/j/86124342428 // Meeting ID: 861 2434 2428 ⬅️ We often focus too much on the “what” of our creative pursuits as a means of identifying ourselves: what do I make, what does it look like, and what do I get out of it? But what you make is not all of who you are. It is through taking time to unpack our own unique values, culture, and knowledge systems that our authentic creative identity is found. This workshop will walk you through an initial process of self-discovery and analysis to help you begin your search. Through exercises and discussions, we can explore the power of authenticity and identity in redefining design within society.
