Abstract
This research discusses how and how much globalization has effected Iranian cities. While most of the available literature indicates that Iranian cities haven’t had an effect from globalization, this study shows globalization to be the dominant discourse and one of the most important factors in the analysis of urban change in Iran.The linear-numerical conception of globalization and the policy for “rehabilitation of urban space for globalization” are two of its main propositions.
