Abstract
In this presentation, I thoroughly explore the LGBTQ theme present in the literary texts of Youssef El Maimouni, “Nadie salva a las rosas,” and Karima Ziali, “Una oración sin Dios.” Over the past three years, we have witnessed the publication of novels written by authors of Moroccan descent residing in Spain, introducing gay, lesbian, and transgender characters. These works boldly challenge the prevailing political discourses that, until now, have failed to recognize and accept the diverse sexual expressions within Muslim communities.
