Using Data, Data Visualization, and Visuals to Globalize Your Curriculum: Incorporating Data With a Global Perspective

Abstract

As the saying goes: A picture is worth a thousand words. In this session, Don will show how you can incorporate more free online data resources in your courses. With more data, our students can have a better global understanding of significant trends and issues, identify problems and potential solutions, and conduct better decision-making supported by data. The workshop will cover ways to utilize global data visuals for interdisciplinary teaching.
