How Coronavirus Changed U.S. Hegemony?: A Theoretical Approach to U.S. Effect on Iran and Venezuela Relations.

Abstract

In my theoretical framework U.S. is the global hegemon. Hegemony can divide world states into two branches; pro-hegemon states and anti hegemons. Iran and Venezuela are both anti-hegemon states. They are suffered of U.S. comprehensive sanctions. In this paper we describe how the corona pandemic changed the U.S. foreign policy to allow Iran tankers reach Venezuela ports. This is done through a shift from hegemonic interventionism to hegemonic isolationism.
