Relationship between Job Attachment and Organizational Effectiveness among Shiraz Municipality Employees

Abstract

This study considers the relationship between job attachment and organizational effectiveness among Shiraz Municipality employees in Iran. The research method was descriptive-correlational. This research’s statistical population includes all Shiraz Municipality employees - 334 people. According to Morgan’s table, the sample size is 163 people selected by Stratified Random Sampling. To collect data from the job attachment questionnaire with a Validity of 0.81 and Reliability of 0.692 and an organizational effectiveness questionnaire with a Validity of 0.90 and Reliability of 0.867 and data analysis were performed with SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistics such as mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multivariate Regression were used. The results showed that there is a relationship between job attachment and the effectiveness of organization. There is a direct and significant relationship between employees, job attachment, and the approach based on the internal process of the organization, organizational culture, organizational climate, organizational relationships, decision making, and reward there is a direct and significant relationship between employees.
