Abstract
In this session, I will display a series of words and each participant will have 7 seconds to type their first thoughts that came to mind as they saw the word. This will be a no-judgment zone. There will be 7 individuals words that will be used. After each word, we will discuss everyone’s first thought and I will ask questions to gain max participation. The point is not to make anyone feel guilty or shames but to accomplish ways to apply strategies to correct inaccurate perception and how it affects the way you interact with others. The focus is to identify stereotypes and their sources as well as to explore the impact on various groups with whom you may interact.
