Engaging Latinos and African-Americans through Websites: How to Broaden Racial Diversity in the Technology Industry

Abstract

This research explored how technology companies used branding through corporate websites to employ and engage with diversity and inclusion initiatives to recruit minorities. Each website selected for the study was coded for the presence of executive management, ethnic pictures, statistics, and employee testimonials found in small, medium, and large companies in the high-tech industry.
