Organizational Diversity in Schools of Health Sciences: A Case Study

Abstract

This work introduces the results of a retrospective look at an organization’s four-year collaborative effort to improve diversity within a graduate school of health professions. The successes and challenges will be mapped across goal setting, implementation, outcome, and analysis. Student diversity, faculty and staff diversity, administrative/board diversity, policies and procedure, scholarship and funding, and perception of climate are the mapped domains.
