Emotional Design in Children's Caps

Abstract

As the traditional design definitions become increasingly blurred,emotional factors are becoming more visible in the design. Emotional integration into product design has become the determining factor of design success or failure. This way not only can arouse the user’s emotion, but can also be designed with traditional rational thinking. This paper focuses on the concept of “emotional experience” and designs children’s caps on the basis of three levels of emotional design. Then from the point of view of product design, we study the factors that affect the user’s emotional experience. In this paper, the children’s cap as an example, from the design, shape, material and other aspects of emotional characteristics of the development and design. In real life, in addition to satisfying practical and decorative functions, children’s cap is a kind of emotional sustenance for their elders, and a way to express their feelings.
