Preview on Historical Monuments in Iran

Abstract

History is a significant treasure of the past that have been transmitted to the later generation therefore it is a must to recognize and appreciate it as a comprehensive study. Today in Iran, due to modernization and urbanism, there is a noticeable decline of the understanding of history and and the richness of the historical inestimable values which have been offered to the newer generation of Iranian artists and architects. The desire of living and being modern has unfortunately devalued the ancient history and art in Iran. In the presented poster, we are to introduce three of the most important architectural monuments, belonging to different overriding dynasties of history in Iran. These are explicit examples of some of the most essentials to be known by any Iranian artist and historian, not only to create an understanding of the tangible architecture, but also to develop the desire of loving history and the national architectural and art belongings. The introduced monuments are all listed on the International Site of UNESCO.
