Los artículos publicados en la Revista Internacional de Museos Inclusivos son revisados por pares de doble ciego por al menos dos expertos en el campo. Los revisores por pares, que son seleccionados e invitados por el equipo editorial y/o por los editores invitados, aportan asesoramiento por escrito y de manera individual sobre cada artículo. En general, los revisores por pares recomendarán que los artículos sean publicados, se publiquen después de realizar revisiones menores o revisiones de mayor calado, a los que se invita a volver a enviarlos después de realizar revisiones importantes; por último, los artículos podrán ser rechazados. Los editores, los revisores y los autores están de acuerdo con los estándares de conducta ética basados en las Prácticas Básicas del Comité de Ética en Publicaciones (COPE).
