  I am a medical doctor who initially began my journey into public health through the TB control programme. Went on to pursue Master in Public Health (Field Epidemiology) which was an introduction to public health with all its scope. I had the privilege of working with WHO as Surveillance Medical Officer in India, which was a real solid field work with the introduction to Polio eradication programme, monitoring routine immunization and doing surveillance. To further strengthen my skill I am currently doing disease detective work serving as India Epidemic Intelligence Serviice (EIS) Officer with National Centre for Disease Control, Delhi.
