This week's update reminded me of something I believe whole heartedly- students thrive when they feel like their teacher likes them. 

Sometimes, the most difficult students are the ones that need to feel loved in our classrooms and it is our job, as teachers, to love them. 

This TED talk by Rita Pierson is one that all educators should see and keep in the back of their minds, especially on those difficult days.
