Yoonie is a MA/MSPH dual degree candidate at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Bloomberg School of Public Health. She was a graduate research assistant at International Vaccine Access Center, working with Economics and Finance team and Epidemiology team on Pneumonia Etiology Research for Child Health. Yoonie is an incoming PAVE (Program in Applied Vaccine Experiences) scholar selected by Johns Hopkins Vaccine Initiative and will be placed at WHO's Initiative for Vaccine Research in fall 2017. She served as Vaccine Investment Strategy intern at Gavi. 

Yoonie is a South Korean citizen and speaks Korean, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and basic French. Yoonie received her BA from Yale University and served as a Global Health Corps fellow from 2014-2015. She is a big fan of Jazz, Blues and Soul music.
