...MoreSeng Kiat, Kok is Project Researcher at Durham University working on a project examining excellence in UK universities. He was formerly sessional lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) teaching research methods to undergraduate and postgraduate students, where he completed his PhD on changing archetypes and management structures of UK Universities. He has a Bachelors in Business Studies from the University of Wales, Institute Cardiff and Masters Degree in Business Studies from LJMU.
His research interests include examining and evaluating the effects of managerialism and commercialisation on higher education management, commoditization of higher education internationally and in the UK, and motivational aspects of human resource management.
