...MoreI have been in education line for almost twenty years. Starting my professional career as a secondary school teacher, teaching Economy subject and hold a post as The Head of Disciplinary Board for six year. My exposure dealing with various kind of adolescents' discipline problems, adolescence self-development and character building lead me to seriously involved with Guidance and Counseling Board. My deep interest in human development had drives me to further studies in Master of Education In Guidance and Counseling at University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur, which was apart from my first degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing from Central Michigan University. After finished my studies, I was posted to The Teacher's Training College in Kuala Lumpur as a lecturer in Education Department, teaching Psychology, Sociology, Guidance and Counseling, Leadership, Learning and the Learners, for different levels such as Diploma In Education, Foundation Program for Degree Education Programme, Education Degree Program for Pra and In Service Teacher. On the fifth years service at Teacher Training College, I was offered a full time scholarship by The Malaysia Ministry of Education to pursue my doctorate Degree in Guidance and Counseling. I was granted a PhD in 2009 from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. My focused of interest now are more on the area of Emotional Intelligent and leadership character building. Now I continue to serve The Teacher Training College as a lecturer as well as a counselor at The Student Affairs Department.My expertise cover the area of Guidance and Counseling, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Leadership Training.
