Payman Sadeghi is an architect with the interest in the field of ecological and sustainable design, programming and analysis. Payman is currently a second year PhD student and Teacher Assistant (TA) in the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UWM. He holds a Bachelor and Master in architecture from Qazvin Azad University. Currently, he is working on energy simulation of innovative passive systems to inform the process of ecological design in the field of architecture practice. Payman has practiced for almost 10 years on various types of civic project such as Iran National Library, International Tehran Tower, Milwaukee Red Cross, and Wausau East Riverfront Sustainable Master Plan. Since August 2009, he participated in numbers of community workshops and design charrets as a design consultant at Community Design Solution Center at UWM (CDS). He also has sustainable/ecological studies which are going to be presented and published at Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC) and On Sustainability. Payman’s area of interest includes Ecological and Sustainable Design, Green Architecture, High-Performance Buildings, Innovative Passive and Active Systems, Building Energy Simulation; Day-lighting, Resilient Urban Design, Architectural Programming, and Community Oriented Design
