Obtained BA, MA and PhD at UCLA, as well as NIH post-doc (Fundamental & Clinical Immunology), and Norman Cousins post-doc (Psychoneuroimmunology). Enterred tenure=track faculty at UCLA Centere for the Health Sciences 1993/1994. Retired as Full Professor Emeritus 2018.
