Her previous professional experience includes such positions as Bank Leading Project Analyst, Training Officer, and Director of internationally supported development projects in Latvia in the area of cooperative finance. She is author of a series of publications on the role of credit unions in the economy of Latvia. The author’s main research interests are in the area of social economy.
