I'm new to this course via Coursera & excited to connect with you all. I'm taking this course for CPD to help me prepare for a New Americans Initiative at my company. I manage a team of remote online ESL teachers for an ed-tech app, and our clients and learners are from all over the world, so I am interested in understanding learner differences on a deeper level for our live instruction team. Our company has started branching out to work with immigrants and refugees in the US as well which is new for us, so I want to be sure that our team of educators is prepared to work with a new set of learners.
