Transformative education 2021


In the last few weeks we have reviewed many aspects of education, in addition to what we need to talk about the present and the future of traditional education. Is this concept obsolete? Is new technology taking the place of the classroom?
Education means more than just memorizing concepts and getting grades. Education is the interaction of many active participants, teachers, students, parents, administrative figures, etc.

Speaking about theories I agree with I can mention Bandura and Vygotsky in fact, I insist in the importance of building healthy relationships doesn't matter the age of the student. All of us are eternal learners, we never stop to learn. The human contact it's important for mental health, if we keep our mental health in balance, good alimentation, and we find recreation spaces, learning will flow better.
Being a teacher is an everyday challenge, like the philosophe (Rousseau, 1767) said, teach your scholar to observe the phenomena of nature; you will soon rouse his curiosity, but if you would have it grow, do not be in too great a hurry to satisfy this curiosity. Put the problems before him and let him solve them himself. Let him know nothing because you have told him, but because he has learnt it for himself. If ever you substitute authority for reason he will cease to reason, he will be a mere plaything of other people’s thoughts. That for me means teach to learn teach more that concepts, teach thinking! Encourage your students to research, read, answered their own doubts and questions.
