Essential Update #7 - Project-Based Assessment Means Results

Project-based assessment is an innovative means of measuring student progress toward an academic goal because it uses real life assignments in place of arbitrary, memory-based questions.

The workplace these days is becoming increasingly disfranchised with academic achievement alone as a barometer for successful employment and is instead interested in tangible, real world accomplishments. This is exactly the sort of feedback project-based assessment was designed to fill.
