  (Wendy) Wendi Li is a PhD student in the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne. She completed her master's degree in global media communication at the same university in 2017. Her research focuses on civic capacity and identity in everyday political engagement in global public communication and, increasingly, issues related to youth, communication, and global risk politics. Her current research project explores young citizens' deliberation on climate change in global cities.
