  Textile artist, designer, and academician Basak Ozkendirci was born in 1974 in Turkey. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Textile Design in 1998, she worked in a field of design and research-development department in the textile industry. Her expertise includes books, articles, papers, awards, and patents. Her artworks are exhibited in national and international personal and group exhibitions. Since 2015 she is working as an assistant professor in Altinbas University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.
