I am working with teachers in 12 different counties in Georgia on improving best practices in Reading and Writing. I am the facilitator of a state-wide grant that is working with schools that have fifty percent or less of their third graders reading on grade level. I am focuisng on what balanced literacy should like like in grades Kindergarten through third grade.
