I have more than six years of civil society experience as a self-made entrepreneur firstly working with the private sector and with a Civil Society Organization, Community Development Alliance (CODEAL), which focuses on building decision-making capacity of young people (Orphans, Street Kids, School dropouts and the Underprivileged) in Cameroon in the areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Entrepreneurship through sports. I have extensive experience coaching young people to be able to take up leadership roles and play active roles in the society with confidence. My business acumen, administrative and human resource management skills were ballooned while serving as the Co-founder/Human Resources Trainer at Vatican Consultancy Company Ltd. During this time I had built my competencies around professionalism, business ethics, public partnership building and management and ethical leadership, with other small private companies. After founding CODEAL in 2010, in 2011, I initiated one of CODEAL's most successful life's skills development Community Regeneration Program through sport as it drew the attention of local decision-makers, the international organizations like the British Council and also international acclamation in Nigeria. Passionate about advocating for the rights of the youths, I succeeded in leading teams throughout Buea, Douala and Bamenda for mobilization and sensitization campaigns on youth's rights, HIV/AIDS and youth's sexual reproductive health, oftentimes against odds posed by traditional barriers and ignorance on the part of the local populace.
