  I was born to a farmer family in a remote area in Central Highlands of Afghanistan. During my childhood there was no school in my village, so my family decided to send me to the center of the district to attend school. I have a bachelor degree in Math from Kabul University where I held the position of the outstanding student throughout my studies. After graduation, I got a DAAD (of Germany) as we as an Indian scholarship for my master studies. After doing my master degree in Bonn, I return back to Afghanistan and worked as an instructor at the AUAF and as the scholarship manager for the DAAD IC in Kabul. In addition to my current works on climate change, I am engaged in a research project on health literacy in Afghanistan (I have carried over the survey and quantitative analyses). I have one published (in the journal of applied statistics) and 4 working papers.
