  I am a retired Professor of Economics from IIT Kanpur, and also former Vice Chancellor of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In addition my teaching, I had guided a number of Ph.D. and M.Tech students in completion of their thesises. Further, I had under taken a number of research projects (sponsered as well as consultancy) sponsored by the Government, Public Sector organisations and Banks. To my credit, I have more than 150 research papers published, presented in national and international conferences. After my super annuation from IIT Kanpur I had a visiting assignment in NISER, Bhubaneswar and then served as Adjunct Professor in IIT Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
