  I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Anthropology, University of Copenhagen. I hold a ph.d. in Asian Studies and an M.A. in Japanese Studies (University of Copenhagen). I have authored a number of research publications on Japanese museum architecture, political rhetoric, and ideological uses of colonial history in contemporary Japan-Taiwan relations, including articles in Museum History Journal, Social Science Japan Journal, Pacific Affairs, Public Relations Inquiry, and Berliner China-Hefte/Chinese History and Society, as well as several book chapters. I won the 2014 EastAsiaNet Award for Best Academic Article, as well as the 2012 Young Scholar Award (1st place) from the European Association of Taiwan Studies.
