  Niyati Gulia is a PhD student at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She works as a Junior Research Fellow under the University Grants Commission, India. Her research focuses on the evaluation of The National Health Mission and its key component Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA). ASHA play a vital role in strengthening Maternal and Child Health in India. Niyati has a Post Graduate degree in Social Work and Graduate degree in Arts from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. Niyati worked as an Assistant Professor in Chandigarh University, India for a year. Apart from this Niyati is also an animal lover cum activist and works relentlessly for their welfare.
