  Focus on development of skill sets to work with children, youth and families in social work settings such as mental health outpatient and inpatient facilities. Emphasis on application of social justice and equity principles to clinical practice as well as evidence based models of intervention with individuals and families. Special attention to the needs of children and families involved with child protective services systems and interface with legal entities that affect families' abilities to attend to the needs of their family members.
