  Pénélope Patrix is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Comparative Studies, Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Lisbon University, Portugal (CEC-FLUL). She holds a PhD degree from the Université Paris Diderot (France) in Comparative Literature ad Arts. Since 2009, she has lectured in various universities, in France and Portugal. Her work focuses on song (Portuguese fado, Argentine tango, French chanson réaliste), lyrics, the relationships between poetry and music, and "minor" literature. She also investigates folklore, "intangible heritage" and museum practices, more specifically the "heritagization" and exhibition of urban, popular culture in the context of the UNESCO list of ICH.
