  Rébecca Bourgault is a visual artist, art educator, and researcher. Since 2015, she has been an assistant professor of Art Education at Boston University, College of Fine Arts. She received a doctoral degree in Art & Art Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York. It followed from an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Calgary, Alberta, and a BFA from Concordia University in Montréal, Québec. Her cross-disciplinary research has been published in nationally and internationally. Current research interests focus on socially engaged arts and related theories, arts-based research & pedagogies.
