  I am a full professor of English at Montgomery College near Washington, DC, and am a native Washingtonian. My Ph.D. is from the University of Maryland, College Park. I recently published a textbook, Style and Substance: A Composition Primer with Kona Publishing and Media (konapublishing.com/catalog/style-and-substance--a-composition-primer/). When not teaching literature, composition, or creative writing, I enjoy working on my own writing as well as seeing plays, films, and exhibitions.
